The government ordered this Friday that employers may choose to issue salary receipts in digital format, which in turn must be signed “digitally”.
Resolution No. 346/2019 issued by the Ministry of Production and Labor – Authorization to employers to issue payment receipts for salaries or other forms of remuneration to staff in relation of dependence in paper or digital format, without requiring prior authorization to the comptroller’s authority – Repeal of Resolution No. 1,455 dated November 18, 2011 of the former Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security, together with its complementary regulations.
