Within the aeronautic law area, the Firm has proven experience in the advice to aeronautical and civil aviation companies, offering legal assistance in commercial issues, (purchase of aircrafts contracts, structuring of purchases on credit, mortgages, leases, leasing), importation and exportation of engines and other parts; registration matters and registration of aircrafts; as well as in tax, labor, insurance, customs, and immigration matters, among others.
In turn, Abeledo Gottheil intervenes in different lawsuits related to this specialty, including foreclosure of mortgages on aircrafts, restraining orders and measures to prevent take-off, claims for accidents, losses and damages of luggage and cargo, civil liability claims, and for consumer law.
The members of our team have taken LLM abroad and graduate courses in the country. Recognizing his expertise, in April 2018 our partner Luis Matias Ponferrada was invited to participate as lecturer for Argentina in the panel on “Structure of businesses to maximize recoveries in Brazil, México and Argentina”, of the annual conference of Exim-Bank in Washington DC.
