The author analyses certain complexities that arise from the different treatment by the national rules applicable to cases of price display with discounts, on the one hand, and price advertising with discounts, on the other, alerts us to the existence of rules in the autonomous city of Buenos Aires that regulate advertising of discounted prices in a different way than national rules and stresses the need to establish uniform criteria and similar legislation that is clear, simple and, above all, reasonable, and that facilitates compliance with the rules for those who are administered and for consumers to know the relevant information.
