By means of Resolution 161/2020 (B.O. 2/6/20), it has been decided to create the Environmental Information Centre (CIAM) within the Ministry of the Environment and Sustainable Development.
The purpose of CIAM will be to generate, centralize and systematize data, statistics and projections on the state, evolution and trends of the environment, its ecosystems and natural resources, for subsequent analysis and dissemination.
